A 71-meter-high copper statue of Sakyamuni sitting Buddha Statue is under intense and orderly construction in the peaceful and graceful famous royal temple - Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen.The Buddha has recently unveiled its mysterious veil, and its solemn face has been displayed in front of the world. The golden Buddha under construction can be seen at a long distance. Although the body parts of the Buddha are still wrapped by scaffolding and safety nets, from the beautiful facial features already displayed, we believe that this Buddha statue will be another landmark in Bangkok after completion.
The Buddha statue was built by Sino Sculpture Group Co., Ltd and started from the end of 2016. Sino Sculpture Group actively cooperated and participated in the early design work. In the construction process, it is to make full use of and bring into play the advantages of the combination of its own hand forging and 3D modeling technology. Due to the huge volume, complex and unique shape of the Buddha statue, it is very difficult to control the overall shape and structure. However, Sino Sculpture Group overcomes many difficulties and uses advanced of computer 3D technology to process all the model data and enlarge it 1:1 to ensure the accuracy of the shape.
With the unremitting efforts of Sino Sculpture and the support of modern technology, it took only three years to create such a huge, beautiful, and high-quality Buddha statue. In the many processes of production, transportation, and installation, we have encountered many problems and issues that we have never expected
\ before, and we have also overcome them one by one. Through this project, Sino Sculpture Group Co., Ltd. has also accumulated many valuable experience, laying a solid foundation for the construction of similar large-scale projects in the future.
