We at Sino Sculpture are privileged to continue our sacred partnership with Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery. After the creation of a towering 4.5-meter Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, we were entrusted with a new mission: to create a more intimate, seated Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue. This 1.8-meter masterpiece, now gracefully installed in the temple’s Open Praying Area of the Pu Tong Columbarium, continues our dedication to the timeless craft of casting bronze Buddha sculpture.

The soul of this project lies in the traditional lost-wax process for casting this bronze Buddha sculpture. From a precise 1:1 3D-printed model, we progressed through FRP prototypes and ceramic shell molds, each stage a critical step in ensuring the final bronze cast captured every sacred detail.

But the transformation was not complete without its golden radiance. The application of the gold leaf is an art form in itself. Our skilled masters prepared the bronze surface through stages of priming and leveling before hand-applying each sheet of special gold foil. This painstaking, skill-intensive process ensures the statue will shine as a beacon of devotion for years to come.

This project is a testament to our passion for preserving tradition while embracing innovation in casting bronze Buddha sculpture.
